Are you working on a painting and have come to a stop and don’t know what to do next?

Do you feel that something isn’t quite right, but you don’t know what?

Do you want to elevate your painting to the next level?
I will review your work and discuss various solutions. It is my focus to honor your work and artistic viewpoint and help you understand other choices that you can make. I can assist you with abstracts or representational work in oil, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media.
It is easy:
- I will send you an email to schedule a time for the critique.
- Then I will send you a link where you can easily upload your reference photo (jpg) (if you have one) and a photo of your painting 24 hours before our scheduled meeting.
- We will meet on Zoom for 1 hour to discuss your painting.
- The cost is 40 dollars for a one-to-one personal critique of up to 4 paintings. (group critiques of up to 5 individuals are available at a different rate – please inquire).
- Once you pay, I will email you your Zoom invitation and password and the link for uploading your work. There is NO technology for you to buy.
In order to be productive during the critique and consider the time we have, please log on the Zoom call a few minutes early and make sure that your video and audio are connected. I will unmute you after I log on and we will begin the critique.

What a wonderful demo/presentation! Thank you. It’s not easy to find soft pastel classes in abstraction. I have been doing this work for 2 years now and it seems that most pastel artists are representational.
So I was thrilled to be part of your class. I’ve been reticent to participate in Plein air as I feel quite intimidated to do my usual “organic” work but your breakdown of abstraction was quite helpful. Now I just need to get the proper equipment.
